Student learning soars in kite-making project at Toronto school
Some Toronto educators are using lessons in making and flying kites as an example of neuroeducation -- a teaching method where students learn by doing rather than by memorising. The kite projects give students a chance to think about why kites fly, experiment with different materials and weights and, as a result, experience higher-level learning.
