A new survey shows a majority of taxpayers would be willing to pay more to repair and improve the nation's decrepit and failing water infrastructure. The 2012 Value of Water Index poll by Xylem, a water technology company, indicates nearly 90% of Americans think the U.S. water infrastructure needs reform. "[W]e must take advantage of this critical moment in time and take collective action to focus more attention on our water and infrastructure challenges," writes Xylem CEO and President Gretchen McClain.
