Billboard captures air moisture, creates potable water
Peru's University of Engineering and Technology and marketing agency Mayo DraftFCB have built a billboard designed to capture the moisture in the air and convert it into drinking water. The billboard, installed in the desert city of Lima, Peru, features advanced water harvesting and filtration systems that could generate 96 liters of drinkable water a day. The water is stored in five tanks and can be retrieved from a faucet at the base of the billboard.
