Finalized deal sets Texas' $1.6B highway expansion in motion
The Texas Department of Transportation and NTE Mobility Partners Segments 3 have finalized a deal on a $1.6 billion project to expand Interstate 35W in Fort Worth. The project will add two lanes each way and reconstruct the current highway. Work is expected to get under way in mid-2013, with completion in mid-2018.
