Alternative-energy firms see bright future despite decline in oil prices
Concerns about global warming and energy security continue to boost the prospect for renewable energy despite the recent decline in oil prices. The spike in oil prices this year led to an increase in investments in alternative-energy firms. But instability in the financial markets has made financing less certain for these companies.
