Docs' wages grow slower than those of other medical pros
Wages for doctors in the U.S. grew more slowly between 1987-1990 and 2006-2010 than for other health professionals, with just a 9.6% salary difference, according to a study in the Journal of the American Medical Association. The average pay of pharmacists and dentists grew by 44% and 23%, respectively, researchers said.
