(Code-sharing allows carriers to sell tickets on one another's flights.) In addition to its passenger business, Korean Air is a leading air cargo carrier. Its fleet of about 125 Airbus and Boeing jets includes more than 20 freighters. The carrier has interests in aerospace components, airline catering, and hotel and limousine businesses. Its subsidiary, Jin Air, started flights in Korea in mid-2008.
