FAA: Jets in LAX incursion were not as close as believed
The FAA, after reviewing radar, now says that two jets involved in a runway incursion at LAX on Sunday were about 82 feet apart -- not 10 to 15 feet, as originally reported. At 82 feet, the two aircraft still maintained less than half the required separation.
