First Wind seeks permit to install more turbines in Maine county

First Wind has filed an application to install 18 more wind turbines in Hancock County, Maine, where it already has 19 turbines in operation. Weaver Wind, a subsidiary of First Wind, has identified 57 potential sites for turbines in the county, according to easements filed at the county Registry of Deeds.
