China's Goldwind aims to expand in Australian market
Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology is looking to expand its presence in Australia as the country moves to get at least 20% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2020. Australia plans to bring online as much as 8,000 megawatts of wind power capacity by 2020 and the Chinese wind turbine maker is "looking to be a serious participant," said John Titchen, Goldwind's managing director in Australia.
