Group: Wis. lawmaker misinterpreted findings of wind turbine study
Clean Wisconsin, which conducted a study on the health risks of wind turbine sounds, said Wisconsin state Rep. Andre Jacque "misinterpreted" the study's findings when he claimed that "dangerous levels" of sound emanated from the Shirley Wind Farm. "The reality is that no 'dangerous levels of low frequency noise' were verified," said David Hessler, one of the scientists involved in the study. "Current indications are that the levels of low frequency noise from the project are quite low and nothing was found that would suggest a problem."
