Minn. to enforce law diverting garbage to waste-to-energy sites
About one-quarter of the Minneapolis metropolitan area's garbage goes to landfills even though the area has four waste-to-energy sites. The state is expected to increase enforcement of a law that allows landfill delivery only if all other options are unavailable.
