Astellas, Medivation reach licensing deal for prostate cancer drug
Medivation could receive as much as $765 million from a licensing deal with Astellas Pharma for its prostate cancer drug candidate MDV3100. Astellas Pharma plans to market the treatment in countries other than the U.S., where Medivation will have co-development and commercialization rights.
