Talecris to announce expansion, shares company results
Talecris Biotherapeutics is poised to announce a plan to expand its plant in North Carolina. The first phase of the expansion is anticipated to be a $280 million facility for the separation of blood plasma proteins used in drug development. The company also reported an increase in revenue and profit during the third quarter, owing to sales of its blood plasma-derived drug products.
