Scientists find hundreds of gene variations linked to ADHD
U.S. researchers identified hundreds of gene mutations that appear more often in children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder than those without the condition. The gene variations are known to play a role in nervous system development and "may eventually guide researchers to better targets in designing early intervention for children with ADHD," the study author said.
