Is CES no longer a destination for news outlets?
The ongoing Consumer Electronics Show has largely been displaced as a newsmaker by social networks and as electronics take a back seat to apps and software, writes Matt Buchanan of Buzzfeed, which is skipping the event. "[T]he value in going is increasingly on the sidelines. Advertisers meet media executives; marketing firms pitch clients.
