5 more Kentucky newspapers adopt paid digital model
The Lexington Herald-Leader and four other papers in Central Kentucky are adopting a digital subscription model this week, extending a trend toward paid access throughout the state. "Our business model has changed, and the content we produce online has value. We're no longer just a newspaper company, but a media company that provides information across multiple platforms, including digital," said Rufus M. Friday, publisher of the Herald-Leader.
