Report: Bank bailout left small businesses in the cold
The government's efforts to prop up banks in the wake of the financial crisis might not have done much to help small businesses, according to a report commissioned by the Small Business Administration. Banks that took bailout funds reduced their lending to small companies by a greater percentage than other banks did, according to the report.
