Moody's: Banks still face economic challenges
American banks will continue to face an uncertain economic future because of low interest rates, slow growth and fiscal-policy uncertainty, according to Moody's Investors Service. "Banks have been cutting costs throughout 2012; the levers are diminishing in terms of what they can do to help offset the margin pressure," said Joseph Pucella, a senior banking analyst at Moody's.
