UPDATE 1-Ericsson withdraws EU complaint vs Qualcomm

STOCKHOLM, Nov 24 (Reuters) - Ericsson (ERICb.ST), the world's biggest mobile networks maker, said on Tuesday it had withdrawn a complaint to European authorities over chip maker Qualcomm's (QCOM.O) licensing practices as two Asian authorities had already ruled against the U.S. firm. Ericsson said in a statement the company had withdrawn its complaint, filed in 2005, which alleged Qualcomm had breached competition rules when licensing its patents.... (more)
