Nearly half a dozen vendors are readying new tablets for market this year, including Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, Samsung and Sony. The HP Slate7 will arrive in the U.S. in April, while Sony's Xperia Tablet S is expected to make its U.S. debut in May. New 7- and 10-inch offerings from Lenovo will feature the Android 4.2 operating system.
