Best Buy founder Richard Schulze has until Oct. 31 to name up to three candidates for two seats on the retailer's board of directors, under a deal the 20% shareholder negotiated with the company. Schulze is allowed to nominate himself for one of the seats, but may opt to remain an outsider to leave open the possibility of reviving a plan to assemble a group to buy the company, experts say.
