PC makers are working to develop hybrid devices that offer the power and capabilities of a laptop with the portability and touch features of tablets. "The iPad is not replacing the laptop. It's hard to create content. That's the niche that Microsoft is going after. The Surface can fill that gap," SAP's Oliver Bussmann says.
