Sony announces plans to enter the 3-D TV marketplace
Sony will introduce its first 3-D TV sets June 10 in Japan. Sony joins a crowded field: Samsung last month began selling its 3-D models in South Korea and will go global with them this month, while Panasonic is scheduled to enter the market Wednesday in the U.S.
