Panasonic's Bob Perry: TV is good, but could be better
The future of IPTV was the topic of discussion at an industry event sponsored by "IVTV," and, while the consensus seemed to be that traditional TV providers such as cable and telecoms are trying to keep pace with new developments, others felt still more could be done. Bob Perry, senior vice president of marketing at Panasonic, for instance, said the industry currently did not "deliver to the American consumer everything they would like to have in the way they would like to have it."
