Facebook gives educators a new path to address cyberbullying
Schools in Maryland now have a new outlet to report potential cyberbullying. Facebook has launched a pilot program in the state that will help streamline reports of cyberbullying on the social-networking website. A point person at each school district will work with Facebook through the "Educator Escalation Channel," -- a resource for educators when the company's standard reporting system is ineffective in resolving cyberbullying issues within 24 hours.
