Take stock of resources to improve professional practice
Professional-resource audits allow educators to examine what in-district resources they have access to, virtually or in-person, writes Mike Fisher, an educational consultant and instructional coach. As educators begin the transition to Common core State Standards, taking stock of such resources will help teachers improve "professional practice and engage students," Fisher writes in this blog post. He notes that teachers can develop a digital learning network after they conduct an audit of their resources.
