Scientists find hundreds of gene variations linked to ADHD
U.S. researchers have identified hundreds of gene mutations that appear more often in children with ADHD than those without the condition. The gene variations are known to play a role in development of the nervous system and "may eventually guide researchers to better targets in designing early intervention for children with ADHD," the study's author said.
