African nations still struggle with governance

Although many with investments in Africa say the political state is improving, a report from the World Bank says significant issues remain. Africa's governance indicators have been improving since 2000, though they are still lower than their 1996 levels. According to the report, Africa scores well for political stability and the absence of violence, while government effectiveness, regulatory quality and rule of law are problem areas.
