Australia's economic growth remained in the plus column during the third quarter at 0.5%, off a bit from the 0.6% of the second quarter. Economists, however, pointed to a slowing trend this year and, looking ahead, said this is likely to continue as exports decline, government pares spending and the mining boom levels off.
