PC-makers shift to in-house design, R&D
Development times in the PC industry have decreased as more PC-makers bring research and product design in-house. "Innovation is increasingly important," Acer's Henry Wang says. "Our new policy going forward will be: Any of our innovative, nonmainstream products will rely 100% on our own R&D."
