Looming federal budget cuts may delay cybersecurity efforts
The automatic budget cuts set to take effect at the beginning of March could hurt cybersecurity efforts in the U.S., observers say. Among the agencies likely to suffer from the cuts are the Pentagon, which oversees most of the nation's cybersecurity program, and the National Institute for Standards and Technology, which is responsible for spearheading President Barack Obama's recent cybersecurity order.
