The appointment of Xerox Chief Accounting Officer Gary Kabureck, CPA, CGMA, to the International Accounting Standards Board signals that the United States will continue to have significant representation on the board even though the Securities and Exchange Commission has not voted on whether to incorporate International Financial Reporting Standards for U.S. public company financial reporting.
