Structural products, including plywood, oriented strand board, and lumber, account for about half of BlueLinx's revenues. The company also distributes specialty products, such as roofing, insulation, molding, and engineered wood products. BlueLinx serves building material dealers, home improvement retailers, manufactured housing builders, and industrial users of building products. The company began as a division of Georgia-Pacific in 1954 and was sold in mid-2004 to Cerberus ABP Investor LLC. BlueLinx went public in late 2004.
