Broadstripe Increases Speeds for Its High-Speed Internet Customers for No Additional Charge
MILLERSVILLE, Md., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Broadstripe, a leading provider of entertainment, information and communications, today announced that after completing an upgrade of its network, it has increased internet speeds for the vast majority of its Maryland residential high-speed Internet customers at no additional cost. Broadstripe more than doubled its download speeds. Super-fast Internet speeds are becoming increasingly important as more and more customers are utilizing the Internet for gaming, downloading high-definition video or other large entertainment and information files.
"As the Internet and its functionality evolve, so will our services and offerings," said John Bjorn, VP & General Manager for Broadstripe's Mid-Atlantic Region. "Broadstripe prides itself in providing the best in overall value in in-home communications and entertainment and we're thrilled to be able to offer our customers complimentary speed increases."
Increasing Internet speeds is one of several enhancements Broadstripe has implemented in 2009. Earlier this year, Broadstripe introduced "Broadstripe Forever," a first of its kind Lifetime Price Guarantee program that offers new and existing residential customers in its service areas one low price for life of about $130 for (V)ideo, high-speed (I)nternet access and home (P)hone service (V.I.P.)
