IPO a possibility for NBCU, Vivendi chief says

Jean-Bernard Levy, the chief executive officer of Vivendi, said that an initial public offering was a consideration for NBC Universal when his company and General Electric created the entertainment firm in 2003 and that it could be again. Comcast reportedly is in negotiations with GE to become the majority owner of NBCU, which Vivendi can exit in mid-November. "Why not?" Levy said when asked about an IPO.
