McSlarrow: Feds should focus on broadband adoption first
Kyle McSlarrow, president and chief executive officer of the NCTA, said the federal government should spend the lion's share of its broadband stimulus on driving uptake of the technology rather than building new networks. "If the stimulus package and the broadband fund is going to be a success, the way we need to think about this is to think about this in terms of broadband adoption," he said. "We have it a little backward right now."
