Time Warner Cable honing new advertising platform
Time Warner Cable CEO Glen Britt said his company was working with other cable companies, networks, advertisers and ad agencies on a common platform designed to take advantage of opportunities in interactive TV advertising. Using digital set-top boxes, Time Warner Cable and others in the industry are working on better solutions to measure ad-campaign results, which could allow cable companies to reap advertising revenue on a national platform.
