PLANO, Texas-- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile) presented a new home to a deserving family in Plano, TX in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity. Samsung Mobile President Dale Sohn presented the keys of the newly completed home which was built with help from hundreds of Samsung Mobile employee volunteers and support and direction from Habitat for Humanity.

The home unveiling is the third Habitat build for Samsung Mobile. The volunteer efforts of the Texas-based Samsung team who helped build the Habitat home were complemented with a suite of Samsung consumer electronics and home appliance products for the benefiting family.

“Samsung Mobile is committed to helping those in need, both across the U.S. and here in our home community of North Texas,” said Sohn. “It was very gratifying to see hundreds of Samsung Mobile employees roll up their sleeves and give more than 3,000 hours of their time to build this new home for a very deserving family.”
