The mobile wallet will finally come of age in the U.S. this year, say 200 industry executives, who also believe that consumers will look to social networks and location-based applications in large numbers, according to a Chetan Sharma Consulting survey. A panel of executives, developers and other insiders predicts banks, credit card companies and online payment outfits such as PayPal will dominate the arena.
