Motorola nets $12M profit, names Fitzpatrick CFO
Motorola continued its resurgence Thursday by making acting Chief Financial Officer Edward J. Fitzpatrick its permanent CFO and by announcing it had exceeded analysts' expectations by delivering a $12 million profit. "This is a rebuilt company, with new leadership and a new platform," noted Avian Securities analyst Matt Thornton.
