Report: Euro mobile broadband will reach 49 million by 2013

Mobile broadband-based laptops are on pace to grow in Europe. Berg Insight is projecting that units will grow 34.1% a year to reach 49 million by 2013, compared with 8.4 million a year ago. Growth will rise with the gradual inclusion of HSPA/LTE (3G and 4G wireless standards) chipsets in notebook computers, but mobile connectivity will remain secondary to home Web browsing, according to the report.
