Report: Google sold 80,000 Nexus phones in January

After selling 20,000 units of its Nexus One smartphone in its first week, Google kept up a similar pace for the remainder of the month with 80,000 in sales, according to unofficial figures from Flurry, a mobile-analytics firm. Google, which declined to comment, had earlier said the smartphone was just the first in a series of products under a new type of sales structure.
