Pay-as-you-go mobile carrier "under attack" from rivals
Analysts say MetroPCS Communications needs to circle its wagons and grow via acquisitions to withstand increased competition from other pay-as-you-go mobile carriers. MetroPCS, which has lost about half its value over the past year, has been in talks to acquire a smaller rival, Leap Wireless International.
