HTC said to set HD2 U.S. plans, launches abroad
HTC is ready to ship its new HD2 smartphone to Europe and Asia, with plans to reach a "major U.S. carrier" early next year, according to an Internet report that said the handset could be set to rival Sony Ericsson's Xperia X10 in the spring. The Windows Mobile 6.5-powered phone, for which there was no pricing information available, will reportedly go on sale Monday.
