Bell Canada ignites $1B wireless network, iPhone sales
Bell Canada switches on its nearly $1 billion broadband-wireless network today and begins selling the iPhone. With rival Telus as a partner, BCE has built a network that will provide high-speed Web access to urban and rural regions alike. On the iPhone, Bell Canada CEO George Cope said the strong Canadian dollar relative to the U.S. dollar would help lower smartphone's retail price.
