Verizon Wireless sets 2010 date for Droid tether
Verizon Wireless subscribers will be to tether the new Motorola Droid smartphone next year, the carrier said, a move that will give them the ability to connect their laptops to Verizon Wireless' 3G network via the Android-based Droid. Motorola has positioned the Droid's ability to act as a modem on laptops as a major selling point for the device.
