Apple's iPhone gains Wi-Fi handset share
Nokia's share of the Wi-Fi phone market took a plunge in the second quarter, from 50% a year earlier to 35% as Apple jumped into second place with a sixfold leap from 3% to 20%, according to a new In-Stat report. Samsung has remained relatively flat over the last few quarters while HTC has also gained market share since early 2008, In-Stat said.
