Calorie counts won't appear quickly at many fast-food chains
McDonald's says it will immediately list calorie content of its food, months ahead of a federal mandate that restaurants with more than 20 locations display such content on menus. Other chains, including Arby's, Waffle House and Chick-fil-A, are waiting until next year, when they expect to be more certain on the steps they need to take.
