Most voters don't want seniors to pay more for Medicare, survey finds
A majority of voters of both parties say they're against increasing Medicare costs for seniors, according to a poll by the Pew Research Center for People and the Press. Sixty percent of Barack Obama supporters and 55% of Mitt Romney voters oppose raising seniors' Medicare contributions in order to cut the deficit, the survey found. But half of Obama backers and 53% of Romney supporters said they favored a reduction in Medicare for higher-income seniors. The questions don't apply specifically to the Medicare proposals of either candidate.
